| Contraindicated in children with hypersensitivity to drug, in those with acute intermittent or varie-gate porphyria but not other porphyrias, and when-ever general anesthesia is contraindicated. Use with extreme caution in status asthmati-cus and use cautiously in children with respira-tory, cardiac, circulatory, renal, or hepatic dys-function; severe anemia; shock; or myxedema because drug may worsen these conditions. |
